Cody Matthews

My name is Cody Matthews, and I have been working in the financial services industry since 2015. Once joining the industry I recognized quickly the importance of education. I made a commitment to both myself and to clients that I would continuously improve. I wanted to have the best understanding of not only the products I offered but also the concepts that can that can be highly instrumental in helping clients reach the financial independence they are seeking. Early in 2020 I successfully completed both my C.F.P and C.L.U designations putting me into an exclusive category of only 1,800 financial planners in Canada who hold and maintain both designations. Along with that prestigious distinction, going through both of those courses allowed me to have a much deeper understanding of the responsibility I owe to  clients every time we meet. The job that we do as planners can be integral to assisting the Canadian Public in achieving financial success as they see it.

It became very clear to me that joining IG Wealth Management would allow me to assist clients with even greater confidence. IG Wealth Management has an extensive product shelf, along with a strong team of professions to support not only clients, but myself as well.
