About —
Bob graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honors Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Management Economics. He completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation in 2004 and his Registered Retirement Consultant designation in 2016. Bob joined IG Wealth Management in 2001 as a Consultant after spending 6 years as a Financial Controller in the high tech industry in Toronto.
In 2004, Bob was appointed to Division Manager in Muskoka and opened a new office in Huntsville. In July 2007 Bob was appointed to Regional Director for Ontario Northeast in the North Bay Region office, subsequently adding the Sudbury Region office in May 2017, and the Sault Ste. Marie Region office in Nov. 2018 to his responsibilities.
In April 2019, Bob moved from North Bay to become the Regional Vice-President for the Greater Niagara Region overseeing offices in St. Catharines, Grimsby, and Welland.
Bob has volunteered for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and was a regular supporter of the North Bay Hospital Foundation, North Bay Food Bank, and North Bay Symphony. In addition, he was a member of the South River Lions Club for 8 years holding many leadership positions including President of the Club. He is on the organizing committee for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Niagara. He is married to Tamara and together they have a daughter Julia and a son Ian.
