Andrew Smith was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Canada in 1993. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. He moved to Victoria, BC in 2004 where he met his wife Tracy. Today, Andrew and Tracy feel incredibly blessed to call Victoria home with their two sons Finlay and Nate. Andrew joined IG Wealth Management in 2006 where he has since built his practice on the simple philosophy of putting clients and their needs first. His international background, work experience, education, and family life have allowed him to develop a unique approach to this industry. When he's not working, Andrew can be found training for the next upcoming triathlon or hiking with the family on one of the many scenic trails Victoria has to offer.

Greg Garner was born and raised in Victoria where he graduated from the University of Victoria in 2007. After receiving his degree, Greg began his career with IG Wealth Management where he continued to build on his growing financial acumen completing the esteemed Certified Financial Planning designation in 2013. That same year Greg married his longtime girlfriend Kim and they shortly thereafter adopted Chester Copperpot the rescue Cocker Spaniel. Greg continues to thrive as a lifelong learner and is happiest when coaching his clients through financial best practices for achieving their goals. Outside of work, Greg enjoys a balanced life of appreciating craft beer and running competitively - from 5km road races to 50km endurance runs. When possible, Greg and Kim enjoy travelling with their passion for beer and the outdoors shaping their itinerary.

Sami brings both professional experience and a fresh perspective to IG Wealth Management. As Administrative Assistant, she has responsibilities in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the practice. Prior to joining Andrew’s team, she worked in Optometry for 5 years as an optometric assistant where she excelled in patient care and administration. She also attended Camosun College and has certifications in both Office Administration and Bookkeeping Fundamentals. When Sami is not in the office, she can be found in the garden or with her nose buried in a book.

Tracy, our Marketing Coordinator, is passionate about excellent client and customer service. With over 20 years in hospitality management specializing in events, conferences services, hotel, and restaurants, she brings flair and attention to detail to the marketing and events side of our team. Tracy was born in Ontario but raised in Victoria from a very young age. She completed her BSc degree from UVic in 1995, however hospitality drew her in with a strong love for all things food & wine and for creating excellent guest experiences. Tracy and Andrew married in 2009 and have two very energetic boys - Finlay and Nate. Family days include hiking, biking, lots of sports, cooking up tasty meals and plenty fun!
