Tanysia Komers is a different kind of CFP (Certified Financial Planner) professional. She studied Creative Writing at the University of Victoria, played varsity level rugby, took some time in Spain to complete an International Hospitality Internship, and teaches micro-economics for fun. A self-proclaimed "nerd", she fell in love with the complexities of financial planning and the personal relationships she builds with clients when she began her practice with Investors Group in 2010.
Tanysia Komers has developed a successful financial planning practice in the region by ensuring that clients are never limited financially and that they are never going to be poor. She works with approximately 150 households and corporations, managing everything from RRSPs and TFSAs to corporate holdings and permanent insurance assets. Clients are decision makers, independent, and growth-oriented.
When Tanysia isn't promoting financial literacy or corralling professionals for results, you can find her in the mountains, on her yoga mat, or with her nose buried in a book.
